Alexander Hsinien King,
M.S., L.Ac, CMD
As a child, he began his training in acupuncture under his father and grandmother's tutelage. His great
grandparents, grandparents, and parents were very successful, well-respected acupuncturists in China
and the United States. They helped lay the solid foundation for Mr. King's uncommon skill in this field.
Alexander was able to develop an innate desire to study
the different acupuncture philosophies around the world
when he was ready to continue his formal education on
his own. He obtained his Master of Sciences degree in
Oriental Medicine from Dongguk University Los Angeles.
There, Alexander was not only able to expand his
knowledge with Korean acupuncture styles but Western
biomedicine as well. Through study and apprenticeship
under some of the most esteemed Oriental medicine
practitioners from mainland China and South Korea,
Alexander was able to combine Chinese medicine
philosophies with western medicine knowledge that he
learned from medical doctors and professors from the
University of Southern California. In addition to
graduating as the youngest student in school history,
Alexander was also the youngest practitioner to obtain
the International doctor of Chinese medicine certificate in
the United States as well.
In February of 2013, Alexander was invited by the FDA to
present acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine
philosophies to their own audience as well as through an
online stream during their cultural and alternative
medicine expo stream at the FDA cultural and alternative
medicine expo
